On this site you will find Events that I currently attended. On some events I even had the chance to pitch my projects.

During the FMX 2019 I had the chance to present three of my diploma projects, as part of the "Education / Final Projects Animation & VFX Filmakademie" presentations:

Night Cat

Family Bonds

You would like to see the presentation and get to know more about my teams and projects?

The whole presentation is online:

Alex Berweck (Director Fussel), Tim Lehr (TD Fussel) and I had the opportunity to present our project "Fussel" at the IP Space. Visitors of this years FMX could try a life demo of "Quill", the software we used to create our short film.

Wearing VR-Glasses, people could dive into the forest where Fussel and his friends are living. With the controllers visitors were able to draw additional plants or friends for Fussel.

Animation Production Day

Together with Jessica Drechsler (Director of Night Cat) and Maria Schmidt (Director of Family Bonds) I pitched at the Animation Production Day.

We were part of the so called Talent Programme.

"Animation Production Days (APD) is a business platform for the German and international animation industry. In effective one-on-one meetings, APD brings together financing, distribution and co-production partners for animation projects and offers focused debates and industry insights at the APD conference. APD is hosted by the Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film (ITFS) and FMX, Conference on Animation, Effects, Games and Immersive Media, both major events in their respective fields that take place during the same week in spring.

- APD Website

Frankfurter Buchmesse

Together with Maria Schmidt (Director Family Bonds) I visited this years Frankfurter Buchmesse.

We would love to turn the IP of "Family Bonds" into a children's book. Together we pitched our idea to different publishers.

"Frankfurter Buchmesse is the world’s most important fair for the print and digital content business, as well as an outstanding social and cultural event. It’s where publishing experts come together with the VIPs of the creative industry to meet authors, stars, journalists, and cultural enthusiasts from around the world. They come for negotiations and deals, networking and discussions, glamour and celebration. " Frankfurter Buchmesse Website

In July we presented our diploma project "Family Bonds" in front of TV broadcasters and production companies.

We presented not only our finished movie, but also pitched the idea of turning "Family Bonds" into a kids series.

SCREEN.TIME is an event organized and initiated by our school - Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, to get young talents the chance to get in touch with people from the industry.

Cartoon Movie

In March I visited Cartoon Movie in Bordeaux for the first time. I didn't pitch any project but it was a great event for networking. I saw a lot of inspiring pitches and meet amazing people.
Can't wait to get back there with my own project.
